Meet Oreo: A Gentle Girl Ready for a Fresh Start
Oreo is a sweet 3-year-old rabbit with a soft nature and curious little nose who is looking for a loving forever home of her own.
She originally came into foster care with her beloved husbun, Caramel. Sadly, she lost him suddenly a few months ago. Since then, Oreo has been quietly finding her confidence again, learning that it’s okay to be curious, to explore, and to trust new people at her own pace.
Oreo can be a little timid at first, but once she feels safe, her inquisitive personality shines through. She’ll come over for gentle sniffs and sometimes a soft head-bump hello, especially if you sit calmly and let her make the first move. Watching her build trust and grow braver each day is incredibly rewarding.
Like many rabbits, Oreo has always had a fondness for treats — the faintest crinkle of a treat bag will have her ears up and attention fully focused. She arrived in foster care a little overweight from too many snacks in the past, but with space to move and a healthier routine, she’s already made lovely progress and lost most of the excess weight.
She is looking for a calm, patient home where she can continue to build her confidence, enjoy a healthy lifestyle, and receive plenty of gentle affection in her own bunny way. With time and kindness, Oreo will reward you with quiet companionship, curious visits, and the sweetest little nose boops.
After everything she’s been through, Oreo deserves a peaceful forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and understood.
